Barrons Corporate Finance offer a wealth of experience in providing support services for acquisitions, from fundraising to financial modelling.
Supported by our sister company Barrons Chartered Accountants, we will introduce experts to support other deal related considerations, such as tax planning your affairs to supporting you through post-acquisition support.
Tax Planning
You are advised to take appropriate tax advice at the earliest stage so that any tax planning measures open to you are properly considered.
Through our dedicated tax professional resources, provided via our sister Practice, Barrons Chartered Accountants, we can advise on the most effective methods to mitigate your taxation exposure from the purchase.
Tax considerations in acquiring a business would potentially include capital, corporate and personal tax planning.

Fundraising
Through extensive contacts, we can help support the financing of a proposed acquisition of a business by seeking to introduce interested financiers to your funding plans.
Working closely with tiers of commercial lenders, brokers and other advisers for a number of years, our team have strong relationships, helping you to secure the best funding package to fit the deal requirements.
Modelling
We can provide comprehensive business plans and models, to support the fundraising process, allowing Private Equity houses to consider participating in the MBO process.

Post-MBO Planning
Even during the early stages of the MBO process, having a plan for the future of the business is crucial.
Barrons Corporate Finance can provide comprehensive models over a 3-10 year time-frame.
Barrons Chartered Accountants, our sister company, can provide full financial support of the MBO team in relation to statutory and compliance matters, as well as day to day ongoing operational support as appropriate.
Sell-Side Limited Review
We can provide a Limited Review to identify and address any potential issues in the operations and financials of the business, seeking to streamline the sales process.
As well as reviewing the financials, the review will assess whether the business is overly reliant on staff, customers or suppliers, and suggest strategies to overcome any issues that arise. Should issues arise during the review that require more extensive support, we can arrange for tailored support through Barrons Chartered Accountants.

Vendor Due Diligence (VDD)
It is increasingly commonplace for the vendor to undertake sell-side Vendor Due Diligence.
This provides a pre-prepared due diligence pack for buyers so that only information updates are required in the actual sales process. This is a more in-depth process than a Limited Review and will seek to overcome any issues that may come to light during the buyer’s due-diligence. We are able to provide sell-side Vendor Due Diligence, which culminates in a pack that can be uploaded to the acquiring company, thereby potentially accelerating the timeline for the sale process as all information should have been made available and verified from outset
