Barrons Corporate Finance and Birketts advise shareholders of General Engineering (Treatments) Limited on sale to Broadway Group
Barrons Corporate Finance and Birketts LLP have advised the shareholders of General Engineering (Treatments) Limited (GET), a specialist provider of engineering surface treatment and finishing services, on the sale of the company to the Broadway Group.
GET, which operates in the industrial engineering sector, provides NDT, surface treatments, painting and related services to a broad range of customers. The acquisition will see GET join Broadway Group, supporting the group’s continued growth strategy and strengthening its engineering capability across the UK.
The Barrons team was led by Managing Director, David Fletcher with support from Gary Raven (Chairman), Lisa Russell (Client Services Director) and Corey Williams (Associate). Additional due diligence support was provided by Barrons Chartered Accountants.
The Birketts corporate team was led by Partner Matthew Miles, with support from Tom Utting, Harry Close, Catherine Erasmus. Also supporting were Jasmin Sandhu (employment), Matt Grindley (commercial real estate), Rachel Fisher (commercial real estate) and Robbie Watson (tax).
